The Spirit of God
Overjoyed is my heart,
Being able to see
What the Spirit of God
Has given to me.
Precious time in worship
Through prayer and song,
Feeling His presence
All the day long.
A God fearing family
To love and raise,
Through every season
And all of my days.
The gift of my broken
And lamenting heart
Which God touched and healed
For a Spirit-filled start.
I fear not to be placed
Into an earthly grave
For the Spirit breathed life
Into my soul now saved.
Job 33:4
The Spirit of God hath made me,
and the breath
of the Almighty
hath given me life.
