Absent Minded
Bringing generations closer to god the tower of babel
I might seem incapable
of unravelling layers of confusion
I might seem like a link bent on mistrust and tangents
stuck in the methods of my madness
but i tell you what
in the transformation
of how the pieces fit
from yesterday to today
how my word will change and transform
and be shed light upon and given new breathe tomorrow
and they will look to me to see
I'm pointing my finger
at the path we walked from
of how to unravel the clues
to find your god
where they will do the same
twist words to make them mean what they want to hear
where even if i were to write simply
or place puzzles and startegy to become ahero
or telepath
psychic vampire
or whatever
they will look upon me
and see
i am bringing them closer to god
unravelling pieces of yesterday
showing them how the pieces of today fit and fell
showing them my mystery and timeles hells
and paranias and realities
and games that we no longer play
except inside our minds that have been forgotten
i bring you closer to god
and in my heart the truth i know
the secrets i hear in my head of the stories i see
and understand of kings and queens and controls
and martyrs you do not totally comprehend as you throw away life lessons
i bring you closer to gos anyway and hope its not a sin
and when you discover the truth for now
i am unable to decipher
but will marvel at picking apart the metaphor and analysing
the fairytale of angels gods and demons
you will be pondering robots and mass murderers and
i will lead you back under the stars away from the aliens into the twilight
of oracles and mediums
to bring you step by step
historically placing the light into the darkness
and shards of darkness into the light
to bring you closer to god
and then when gabrielles dance is discovered
and everyone looks for anew way to cheatsheet the crime
anfd find ways at miracle play
