When i was a child
and went to school,
the first thing we did was
follow the golden rule.                            
We bowed our heads
and recited The Lord's Prayer,
we knew HE was always there!                                  
                                                  
The second thing we would do
was hold our head high
with hand on our heart.
We pledged allegiance to our country,
and God was always a part!
Now in the schools tis frowned upon,
to even mention God's name.
So fighting and chaos erupts,
with only ignorance to blame.
For to gain respect,
it must first be given.
Led by honor and common sense,
we must be driven!!
