A Love for God

A feeling down deep inside,
About room for God to abide;
For a flame from my desire,
Has ignited in a blazing fire.

There is no way I can deny,
But still I will wonder why;
Exactly the way that I feel,
His Spirit boosted my zeal.

So it would be safe to say,
Love for God is here to stay;
And will only grow stronger,
As a relationship gets longer.

I have been given assurance,
A relationship is in existence;
That has been linked as one,
And developed through His Son.

So whenever that day arrives,
After my last breath deprives;
My heart has reserved a place,
When we will meet face to face.
