My precious Lord you are so faithful
In my journey I knew you wouldn't forsake me
Several churches I have gone to
Being obedient in your Will to do
Meeting many people along the way
Sharing your love as you asked I obeyed
Yet my soul was crying out and getting so restless
For I wanted to shout to the rooftop your praises
It's been a journey that has extended my church family
Praises be to you Jesus for it's here I'm sure you'll plant me
Right back to square one seems to be my true church home,
so full of love and joy
It could bring tears to a grown babyboy
If he was there to see the joy his Mama felt
With each smile and approach my heart would melt
Many have the same spirit as I have for you
Even if their hands don't lift to praise you too
I had fellowship in each church but yet something wasn't right
Not that it was wrong for them but they had their own insight
My love grew for Pastor Bill,Auntie Ann,Barbara,Drue,Lumar,and Evelyn
I also hope will return my God daughter,
God son and my 3 God grandchildren
More loving faces but names I can't recall
Without communion my spirit man was slowly starved
A heart to love praise and worship you have given me
I cried before leaving this,but now I'm back with my church family
My heart and prayers for all my extended family will remain
Glory to God I'm home again and will in my way worship my King
Praise you Jesus, you are faithful and Holy,and precious each day
Thank-you for the journey and knowledge of your Will...not my way

Still my Sisters added to my heartstrings acknowledgement I give them.
There was Teresa whom I met at Revelation bookstore ran by Wendy that invited me. Then Libby her sister,Barbara and Helen,Sandy,Mary Beth, and Katie There was another church with a precious lady named Dee,then through my journey as a stepping stone God guided me, began a Christian writers group with Barb again, Margaret,Mary,Marsha,Melanie,Yvonne and about 5 Linda's too there's Joyce,Vicky,Phyllis,Rachael and my God daughter Jamie.I'm sure there's more names in my heart to share, I just praise you Jesus for the learning and discernment of God's love you gave me on this journey that guided me back to here,rewelcoming my family with joy,love and smiles from ear to ear.

Psalms 148: 12-13, 149:1
"Both young men, and maidens; old men, and children: Let them praise the name of the Lord: for his name alone is excellent; his glory is above the earth and heaven. Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints."
There lives in each of us a desire to be appreciated and to receive some recognition when we do a job well. Children love to get their parents approval on a completed chore or good report card, an employee wants to receive a promotion, a raise when they have accomplished a task, a husband or wife wants to see a smile, some form of thanks when their spouse notices something special they have done. All these are things for which some form of thanks was expected; because we knew we did a good thing. We know how we feel when we receive it, and how we feel when we DON'T receive praise for our labors. What about God?
Our heavenly Father created us young and old, male and female, breathes the breath of life into us and awakens us to brand new mercies, grace and opportunities each morning. The sun still shines, the wind still blows, we are still in our right minds, we rise up and see our families, and God still loves us. Great is His faithfulness. How much time do we take each day, throughout the day; to thank God, to praise Him for His greatness, meditate on His faithfulness? to let Him know how much we appreciate Him? David said even His NAME is excellent, His worthiness is above the praise of a parent, boss, spouse, His glory is above earth and heaven. He deserves our praise. Go to your place of worship today....Give God His glory...Sing forth the praises of God. Give Him praise and glory, not for what He's done, but just because of who He is.
