To think of myself in
That way that invokes
Darkness and pain.
You say it's selfish
To think of only myself
When creating wounds
Upon my arms.

This suicidal way,
As though saying
That will pull me out
Of the drabness.
Tell me how you
Deal with something
That eats you up
On the inside, something
You can't get to without
The aide of a simple
Sharp object, and I'll
Tell you I've been
Foolish and wrong
For several years.
