The Flaw of Screaming Sirens
No one gets hurt
during the day
makes me wonder
why the sirens
never stop
they circle around
Every night
to keep me up
No one gets hurt
during the day
but a few hours later
after work
you play
they play
we play
Drink some drinks
snort some cocaine
get violent
pull a trigger
go figger
accidents happen
No one gets hurt
during the day
the ambulance by my house
is like a mouse
only there to keep me alarmed
terrified and awake
otherwise by now
the whole city would be arrested
and in the hoispital
Siren after siren
day by day
it would add up
to more than 365 arrests at least
365 emergency situations
so my city is hell
but these tragedies and stories
never hit the news
must be a war?
So all i can say is
Fvvck you and your sirens
Fvvck you and your terrorism
Fvvck you and your everlasting nightmare
the jail has 700 people in it
but its only supposed to house 300
did they arrest them all this month?
the hospitals are busy
but does everybody need the ambulance for the flu?
why do only car accidents make the news?

on and on and on
criminals from around the province
health issues from hundreds of towns
so whats with all these sirens?
Is it the truth?
just a reminder
abuse of power?
a game to drive me crazy?
do they think no one would notice
no one would add it up
