Perfect Get-Away
Clouds but a mere wisp, float on an ocean of blue
For as far as the eye can see,
As birds dance above gentle waves so free, so free…
Crashing waves thunder in the distance
As they caress a beach nearby,
Loving glances shared between you and I.
Sweetly scented jasmine floats on the breeze,
As you and I chat about our desires with such ease…
The warmth of your hand in mine brings peace
To an already amazing day,
As we share our dreams together
On this, our perfect get-away…
The setting Mexico sun creates smeary hues
Across such an amazing sky of varied blues,
As we sit upon a beach of perfect white sand
Two lovers at peace, hand in hand.
Not another thought spoken to the breeze
Just your lips sharing mine, wishing only to please.
