Petals In The Grass

Withered Bone

Hundreds of corpses where they lie
I''ve come to say a prayer not to die
All of them hold memories under their stone
No more rotting flesh just withered bone
When they came here they learned the truth
Unable to tell their secrets having no proof
Always leaving someone behind, that you can believe
Loved ones bring flowers, then leave
Having no more troubles and can feel no pain
Stuck here forever they will remain
So bring a flower and bring a prayer
Let your tears kiss the air
