Blessed Living Water
My heart pants for the stream,
That I once saw in a dream;
Where I can quench its thirst,
Far from Satan who coerced.
Enticements of Satan are great,
With a desire to alter your fate;
Willing to lure you with a dare,
As he traps you within his snare.
But Satan is amongst the dead,
My hope is in the living instead;
And so I want the living God,
To redeem me from this fraud.
My tears pour night and day,
Realizing all the time I stray;
And after all is said and done,
I keep forgetting of His Son.
Jesus had already paid my debt.
Willing to forgive and forget;
When I am willing to confess,
With living water He will bless.
