In Joy And Sorrow
Baby it's you and me
on the open road of tomorrow
in joy and sorrow
through the rough edges
through the smooth stages
two hearts are beating so happy
two hearts easily melting in one
it's you who lifts me
makes me more than I ever could be
gives more than takes
a true partnership
through all life's tests
in joy and sorrow
a everlasting bond
love is smiling so happy
love is two souls melted as one
I lived before you
missing a part of myself
but now that you are here
a permanent impression you have left
so in detours I find your mark
over and over I return
to the start of something so wonderful
it can only be described as a miracle....
