Internal Graffiti

Deadly Escape

We pass through stoplights
and watch the blur of other vehichles
fly by-
and I...
feel no fear.
The road becomes a liquid
and I love it every time.
Some one always comes to save me
by putting my life on the line
and the thought I see
before we crash
is the fact
that I don't care...
I close my eyes and allow-
the nausea to hit
and I feel more free
then ever before
and I cannot ignore
the fact that I want to scream
...but not out of anger-
because,the only time
that everything goes away
from the fact that nothing is okay...
...is when I am in danger...

{and I always find a way,to get on the highway,and throw
every fear away-and pretend it's my last day....
...every time I get upset-and it feels so damn good.}
