Her Favorite Place
Her favorite place to be right now
Is looking out over the lake,
Where they used hold each other tight
Sweet love, they did make.
She walks along the lake
A tear, gently rolls down her cheek,
She hadn't had a clue
That their future, would turn out so bleak.
He had been called off to war
In a country, he never knew,
Now, he is buried in the ground
When a gun battle loudly grew.
Her favorite place to be right now
Is being around that lake,
Where she remembers the love they shared
By the love, that suddenly was taken away.
