 Cynthia's Home of Many Things

'Neath The Weeping Willow

She shows up
On the anniversary
Of his death,
She sits by his headstone
And gently weeps.

She places freshly cut roses
Upon the ground,
She places her hand
To feel every crevasse
Of his name in stone.

A single tear
Licks her cheek,
As she bows her head.

She says a prayer
To keep his soul safe....
She whispers the name
Of her unborn child.
