Noisy Fairies
The Fairies are being noisy
I can't get any sleep,
They keep playing their instruments
And papers are on the floor, in heaps.
I've asked them time and time again
To please quiet down,
But, of course, they never listen to me
I walk around with a frown.
They're quiet through the day
But, are quite rowdy through the night,
I try my best to get some sleep
But, it's a nightly plight.
I may rant and rave
But, it never gets me anywhere,
I go through nights of insomnia
And feel like pulling out my hair.
I bought myself some ear plugs
And they don't seem to work,
Maybe I'm putting them in wrong
I feel angry, with those lil jerks.
I finally have had enough
Of all of this dang noise,
I chased them 'round with the broom
And yelled,"Get lost now, girls and boys!"
I collected all their instruments
And all the papers too,
I went back upstairs to bed
Sleep? I think I'm overdo.
