Surprise Visit From My Mom

I got a surprise from my mom
I haven't seen her in over a year,
She had her hair dyed blonde and cut
I thought it looked rather weird.

She asked what I have been up to
I offered her a tea,
She sat at the kitchen table
And talked a spill with me.

I was pleased to see her
It seemed like it was forever,
I hope she comes back to visit
No matter what the weather.
