The sun rises
the sun sets
The ocean laps
upon a sandy shore
People are prejudice
harm, hurt, kill
Our president
can't be trusted
Hate, greed, violence
overpower the earth
Time marches on
to it's own beat
Simpler times were hard
No technology
Miles took longer
it seems now, worth it
The world is at war
Nothing will ever be the same
Government has turned it's back
on us "We the People"
It is what it is
But..
We will go on
