~Every Now and Then~

All my yesterdays
are neatly tucked away
But every now and then
you seem to cross my mind

Smiling, I remember
all of our good times
Always fast, crazy and free
Happiness, laughter shared

All my yesterdays
were not filled with you
For the most part make me cry
Wipe tears from my eyes.

But every now and then
when you cross my mind
I thank you for being there
you always made me shine.
