Christmas is for children
We're all young at heart
Keep the giving spirit
Never let it part

Feel the excitement
Like on Christmas day
When you were a child
Running to see what Santa brought your way

We learn how to give
The older we grow
Remembering Christmases
As the child of long ago

In me the child
Is still part of my life
Though I've kids of my own
And I'm somebodies wife

With each passing Christmas
May it grow ever clear
That Christmas is love
The gift wanted all year.
