I have a friend called Jody Dickey,
she writes lyrics and she's pretty picky.
She'll play with her verses till she thinks she's through,
with a perfect song that an artist will do.
Jody has lots of friends and some are artists too,
I'm with all of them that believe in you.
I see you seek perfection in all you write,
you'll find that perfect song that will go out of sight.
Jody is a kind person she will help anyone,
she's not in it for the money more so for fun.
She's always there to read a poem i write,
she responds to my messages either day or night.
We met each other on a free poetry site,
we started chatting and about the things we write.
I can write poetry about just anything,
just can't write a song with a chorus to sing.
Jody introduced me to her friend Ric a country singer,
keep an eye on this x marine he might be the next ringer.
Ric and Jody are good friends to me,
one day we could all write a song for you all to see.
