 God's Love Through Poetry

As I look within my inner self Lord,
I ask what love can I possibly give
in which one day I will be remembered
for Your Love truly letting me live.

Please make within me a difference
something I can leave behind
that Your love walked with me
enough for someone else to find.

For I know one day it is fresh
as the early morning's dew
but then within the afternoon's sun
I'll be forgotten like no one ever knew.

I know that as mere dust
here today and tomorrow I'll fly
that I may leave something to show
Your love within me never died.
