Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
You don't live in the walls, you live within them
Please be shining in my defense as the walls
Splinter and rupture the enhanced fraction of me.
I have been within these depressive walls,
A bland shade of gray, an ugly hint of white,
And the loss of hope and color to a world
Stained a midnight black.
I had hoped you would come to paint these walls,
Turn them into murals, a bevy of
All that you ever wanted to see me as,
Or was my normal self good enough?
I cannot hide here for long.
Something crashes and something burns
And suddenly the walls that saved
Me from societal stares have broken and
Are falling upon me,
And I'm not screaming, I'm just
Hoping it won't hurt too much,
These brittle walls that slam me to the
Ground and gasp as they take their last
Breath, a breath of horrendous noise,
Thunderous noise that can only
Be described as depression breaking.
