Fantastic Voyage

I builded a little submarine
From three brass pepper pots
Not ideal material
But I didn't have a lot
I launched it in the Serpentine
Slipped out through a winding drain
And in next to no time
I reached the Spanish Main
There I played touch tag
With a school of jelly fish
Waved to a mermaid
Eating from a silver dish
Dolphin after dolphin
In hordes and scores and lots
All came to salute me.
In my three pepper pots
I could have stayed for ever
But I was running out of air
So I waved to my friends
And I left them all there
I landed in Trinidad
Just in time to watch
The Windies and the Pomms
Play a cricket Test match
Oh how I treasure all the memories I've got
From my voyage in a submarine
Builded from those three brass pepper pots
