IT DOESN'T COUNT

Great boyfriend, great job
House you love with a great view
Two boxer dogs with tails that bob
Granddaughter with her "I love you"

Five things you tell me to fill my glass
While it's half emptied as you pass
Through the misery inside of my soul
It doesn't count because you roll

On home there where she lives
After I relinquished what gives
The passion in my body overflowing
It's up to zero while I'm knowing

You're in her space
You're home at her place
For over two years still going on
It doesn't count, you're gone.
