For each in its own direction, route and pace
Lose grip of feet on the land you stand and slip
Ponder inside you to find the self lie strangled
Got suffocated? Get this mandrake root of spell!
When all charms lost, peel skin and see the core
Stark naked creature! when born in flesh afresh
Who taught you to use your hand made apparel?
Escapists wearing masks and hoods flee in frenzy
Leaving avalanche of slogans having no meaning
The flower will once more smile and wilt away
Leaving food for thought for the starving minds
What's the underlying tune of deeds and words?
Stand on earth as thoughts soar into lofty realms
Reflect on things seen and felt, you sentient being!
Time heals festering sores and split in due course
