These words are for the
battle weary soldiers
in the world today
I know you are tired
and weary, I give you power
and strength to stay
The course to fight
the many demons,
who try to drag you down
I give you wisdom
and discernment, I give you
joy in place of a frown
You may think
I have left you alone
by yourself to feign
Not a chance
would I leave you as those
demons around you, I unchain
They came to stop
this mission you are on,
to stop what I gave, your work
They have no power
over your thoughts and actions,
yet they still will smirk
I am the One who gives
you today all and whatever
you will need
I send My Spirit to refresh
you and inside of you
to plant My seed
This is My agenda,
My world and My will,
is being done
Jesus came to show you,
this battle you fight,
He has already won.
I came to encourage you
this day to not give
up the fight
I restore you and
release you and give you
that remarkable sight
This is not the time to stop
and give up and
stray from Me
I show you the way,
I love you intimately,
now I want you to see
The battles have been
long and ongoing,
so very fierce
It seems all you face is
darkness and gloom,
it is I who does pierce
The enemy in all of his
many lies he
has whispered to you
I Am here
to set you free and to
deliver you, My child, too
I am your strength,
your wisdom, the joy
you need today
I place inside you
My vision and give you
words to say.
At the right moment
when one of my children
will need a lift
I come to your rescue,
this battle is mine
and My punishment is swift.
I change you from
glory to glory,
in the twinkling of an eye
I know your many sorrows,
at this moment,
I also hear your sigh.
I hear your every whisper
when you feel so
down and totally drained
But you remember
I am for you and I am with you,
it is I who sustained.
