Poetic Friends
I wanna carry Chinese food
home in the snow with you,
a bottle of wine,
lets go home and light candles,
drop Coltrane in, I want you
in you're comfortable cloth,
your bare feet, unguarded,
snow falling outside our window
wishes taking form,
sip wine baby, point your toes
at the world, Manhattan is outside
and we're on top of the world,
tomorrow we'll watch floats go
by and I'll hug you,
hold on tight dream girl, hold
on tight my spirit flies fast,
living is for this.
