Thanksgiving Day is always a fun filled way
To visit with the family as the kids giggle and play
Sneaking in the kitchen and grabbing a bite
Pies and deserts are always a delight
We name the bird each and every year
Just a tradition passed down around here
There's always a shout when the bird is done
Bowing our heads giving thanks from everyone
Oh what a wonderful time of year
To be thankful for blessings of family cheer
Remembering those that are less fortunate than us
But above all giving praises to our Lord Jesus
Praying in His name for the families that are apart
Thanking our soldiers from the bottom of our heart
So many away from their loved ones everyday
Serving us and missing out on a many of holidays
Let us take the time to count all our blessings
Not just on the holidays but daily celebrating
For the love of Jesus shines through in giving
Showing love and compassion for all of His children
Do we even realize each and every day
There is someone who is literally starving
We know we have food to bless daily
While others are homeless and begging
Open up your hearts and do what you can
For it is written when you give to the least
of them You have given unto Me
He is watching and sees all the needy
We all have a purpose planned out by God
Fulfilling a calling in this world as we trod
Be kind and loving to all you meet
Sow a seed of kindness as you greet
Happy Thanksgiving to one and all
God bless the ones that heaven has called
Comfort the families with an empty chair
Warm their hearts by your presence being there
Be Loved, Be Blessed and Happy Thanksgiving
all around the world to all my Brothers and Sisters!!!
Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring
ye ought to support the weak, and to rememberthe words of the

Turn Your Kids Around from Copeland Ministries
"And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children."
(Isaiah 54:13)
Too many Christian parents today are wasting time worrying about their children.
Years ago, Gloria and I saw the devil trying to get a foothold in our children's lives, so one weekend we got our concordance and four or five translations of the Bible. We began to search out scriptures and write out agreement prayers concerning them.
We tore into the devil with the Word of God and started saying, "Thank God, our children are not going to hell. Thank God, they are taught of the Lord and great is their peace!" Instead of walking the floor and worrying about the problem, we walked the floor and praised God for the solution.
Things didn't change instantly. We still had to go through some tough times, but the Word began to turn things around. Today, our children are serving God with all their hearts.
If your kids are headed for trouble, don't waste time worrying. Start believing! Get the Word working in their lives. Bind the devil with it and tell him he can't have them. Then follow the instructions in Matthew 9:38: "Pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers" into the field who can reach your children. God knows who they'll listen to, and He knows how to bring those people into your children's lives at just the right time.
Grab hold of God's Word, refuse to let go where your children are concerned--and sooner or later, that Word will grab hold of them.
