Poetry For Everyday People

She's A Writer

She was sad
and darkness
found her,
within her self
she dove
far away,

as the moon
lit clouds
she kissed
pain, no one
to talk to
empty shoes
going nowhere,

then she wrote
and she wrote
and she wrote,

she wrote
her self out,
she wrote
her self
some place
safe. she
wrote her
pride back,
her innocence
restored, her
guilt quilted,
love one
more chance,

she wrote
her self out,
and she made
new friends,
laughter appeared,
magic filled,
her eyes sparkled
the moon smiled
through,

she was more
than they ever
thought, the
world was at her
feet.
