God's Most Beautiful Angel-A Mother's Grief

Box

Box

I cannot do this anymore.
It hurts too much.
Festering like an open sore.
Medicines can’t touch.
I feel confined, bound up tight.
Like in a box…I fight to catch my breath.
My eyes are open yet I see no light.
Is this…death?
I don’t think that I am dead.
I hear someone asking me to fulfill a need.
My heart will not respond a tear it sheds.
Faster and faster it beats.
A sweat appears upon my brow.
Questions form in my mind.
Can anyone see my pain right now?
Am I the only one that you can find?
Why are you asking me for help when I am trying to help myself?
I have to get out of this box.
