God's Most Beautiful Angel-A Mother's Grief

Let Me Be

Let Me Be

What do you want from me?
Why can’t you just let me be?
You are not real just a product of my troubled mind.
If you dig much deeper there is no telling what you’ll find.
The images you send are sharp and clear.
To be alone is what I fear.
So are you here to fill the void?
Why is it you are so annoyed?
Yes I want to see my child…you know that she is dead.
No I will not lie quietly here upon my bed.
I must get up and scream and show the anguish on my face.
The ones I love will come and save me. You can’t take me to that place.
I will not do what you request.
I want to live and love it is what I do best.
