God's Most Beautiful Angel-A Mother's Grief

Without You

Without You

Another day has passed without you.
My heart still beats through a broken shell.
As I continue on with the act of living I wonder if you think of me too?
Everyday I cry out your name within the confines of my private hell.

Is this what I have to look forward to?
Roaming from picture to picture in the dead of night?
Being able to only remember you?
Tears of angst streaming down my face in fractured light?

My desire to see you…to touch you…to cradle you once again in my arms…is more powerful than the blood pumping through my veins.
It defines my life as the cycle of the moon rules the sea.
It is constant sorrow lapping at the shores of a mind in flames.
I am unable to be just me.

You were born from an act of love so strong the tie will never break.
I am your friend...forever your mother.
This day will pass like all the rest with you at Heaven’s gate.
Mother’s Day…or any day…without you is just like any other.
