And the water flowed and her eyes were wet,
The tears fell like torrential rain,
Ebbing out into the waters…
Fading away, and then returning again!
But tears and time, time and tears,
Is what life is all about!
Nothing worth having comes easy!
Of that there is no doubt!
And when you feel at the end of the day,
That you can't take any more!
Pick yourself up, start over,
And walk through another door!
And when you feel it's all too much,
Remember that it will improve!
Stay focused, determined and true!
Get yourself out of that saddened groove!
And when at the end of the day,
You are weary, tired and blue;
Pick yourself up, dust yourself down,
And start all over, anew!
And tears are the great healer,
They get us through the rough!
The more we fall, the higher we bounce!
And that's what makes us tough!
So for now; you do what you can;
To get you through each day!
And before you know it, one day soon,
Everything will be okay!
And no matter the trials that you face!
You can get through them all, yes you!
And then one day, you'll look back!
And then you'll realise you came through!
