Song Of His Praise
If I had ten thousand tongues...
to thy praise were bound
I can never express with words...
the beauty that I found
You came and rescued me
when it was cold and dark,
delivered me from my troubles
before I fell apart
O Lord...
How can I ever thank thee
When the waters covered my head
You took me out the raging sea
Thy grace is beyond measure
I'll never forget thy name
When I think about thy mercy
the tears fall like rain
O Lord...
How can I ever thank thee
When my feet were shackled with trials
You set this captive free
When I was down in the night
lying on my bed
You spoke to my heart
and lifted my weary head
O Lord...
How can I ever thank thee...
I was lost and blind
but now I see
I can speak of thy grace forever
I'll never out last the Son
You triumph over the Shadow Of Death
where sickness and darkness mourn
If I had ten thousand tongues
to thy praise were bound
I can never express with words...
the beauty that I found
