 A Little Mouse
A little mouse came out to play.
He planned to have a fun day.
His eyes were scanning all around,
looking for any playground.
Ole Tom Cat laid in an easy chair,
while Tweedy Bird flew around in the air.

Mom and Dad were fast asleep,
he didn't want to make a squeak.
Up the cabinets he climbed,
looking for things to find.
Tweedy Bird was watching out,
he had begun to sing out.
Tom Cat opened up his eyes.
He was in for a real surprise.

The little mouse was in his food,
what was Tom Cat going to do?
Feathers flew all around,
Tom Cat meowed and jumped down.
Little Mouse was gone in a flash,
he wasn't going to be Tom Cat's hash.
