Heart Of The Matter
What Shall I Wear?
What shall I wear for you?
The leather or the lace,
A hint of make up,
On my face,
Nails neatly manicured,
Painted pearly white,
What should I wear?
Upon this love filled night,
Dressing up,
Or dressing down,
Pale blue satin,
Eiderdown,
Feather pillows,
Tear stained cover,
What should I wear for you?
My lover,
Should I wear a sultry smile?
Keep you prisoner,
For a while,
Gently bathe in unshed tears,
Erase,
So many wasted years,
Is this but a strange obsession?
Urgent and demanding …
Confusion …… superseded now,
By mutual understanding,
Tell me now,
What shall I wear?
Does it matter?
Do you care?
