Thanksgiving Prayer
Thanksgiving Prayer
Well today is Thanksgiving
a reflection of things we hold dear
but Thanksgiving isn't just today
it should be all year
Well they say a miracle has happened
every once in a while
but miracles happen every day
in every dark tunnel
I find the crack
to see the silver moon
Well some say God doesn't exist
but watch those very same people
in a crunch expect his appearance
it's a complicated world we live in today
amongst all the hyprocites
so I am thankful everyday
for true friends and family
for miracles I know of
and even the ones I haven't seen
I am thankful for the power of hope
thankful in passing I can remeber
those in love
I am thankful for even the hyprocites
those souls so in denial
they have helped me to see
how proud I am to say His name
oh God I am so thankful!
