Happy Birthday to My Goddaughter and Friend

Happy Birthday to my precious Jamers
You see She is my Goddaughter  
Sent in my path many years ago
Neither one knew how this bond would grow
 
I praise the Lord every day for her
An extended family in my heart for sure
The Mother of 3 girls and a wife
A servant for Jesus no matter the strife
 
We have been so blessed to be brought in
For a time such as this with poured out blessings
We can talk about Jesus for hours and hours
Uplifting one another with Holy Ghost power
 
We tell each other of things revealed
Often waiting our turn for the other to be still
For the Lord is blessing us tremendously
Through studying we see fulfilled prophecy
 
What a joy to share this hunger for the word
I praise His name for your rebirth
Yes this is celebrating a life renewed
This being a birthday that will hold praises too
 
 
Gods purpose for you is to love and endure
Making this your best birthday for sure
Daily you are growing at a rapid pace
When I prayed for a quickening
I guess it was quickly manifest  
            
I can't tell you how very proud I am of you
My precious Goddaughter and loyal friend too
We can hardly go a day with out sharing
For our bond is truly loving and caring
 
A young woman so wise for her years
I sit in awe at times as my eyes fill with tears
For she herself doesn't even know her total worth
I tell you this I am so glad she was put on this earth
 
She is as honest as the day she was born,
trustworthy confidant , prayer partner, and friend              
As the years pass by she is more endearing
My Goddaughter,a gift sent to me from heaven
            
I love you Jamie with all my heart
I've prayed God's Will for you from the start
I know His word will not return void
I praise His name for bringing you into His fold
 
Did I tell you how beautiful is your heart of gold?
A gift to the world as your purpose is told
Boldly stepping out to serve the Lord
Never turning back to be of this evil world
 
Happy  Birthday today and every day
For the joy of the Lord will in your heart displayed
This is the day that the Lord hath made
Live, Love, and Laugh and walk on the lighted path

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
"Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, for he has no one to help him up."

From the beginning of time, God made it clear that it is not good for His people to be alone (Gen. 2:18). God designed us to cooperate. Throughout the Scriptures, He speaks of His people as a community that accomplishes more together than separately. God did not create us as isolated individuals, each seeking to achieve our own goals, . Rather, the success of our endeavors depends upon our interdependence. This is why He established the Church and released His Holy Spirit to empower the community of believers to spread the gospel. We are to be a kingdom of priests (I Peter 2:9)
 
During difficult times it is critical that we are walking in fellowship with other Christians. When a crisis hits, it is overwhelming to face it alone. But if we have cultivated supportive friendships, we will find strength in the comfort and encouragement of those who care about us. Interdependence is also a safeguard for us when we are lured by temptation. The consistent testimony of those who have fallen to temptation is that they isolated themselves from other believers and were not held accountable by Christian friends.
 
If you are not a part of a caring community of believers, you are missing out on what God designed you for. You are also in danger of falling into sin. You must link your life with others who are seeking God's will. Seek to be a person who willingly joins others in carrying out God's assignments. Strive to be the source of support and encouragement that those around you need.
