The Grand CanYon Of GOD

A thirteen year old boy flying in a seven forty seven.
When the pilot dipped his wings on the way to LA.
Seeing the canyon made me want to go.
Eye found myself in Flagstaff AriZona in the snow.
Hail stones as big as golf balls hitting me in the back.
As eye travelled up to canyon.
Blue Jean Jacket on my back.
The camping was near the gait way inn.
The guard was mean and scrutinized me.
Dont try to hike near the river old man or you will likely die.
Dont go in on the road the paved road see????
or this guard will likely shoot you.
He pulled his pistol from his holster
and pointed at me with his gun.
I cussed I could NOT help it he was COWBOY tough.
Eye finally saw the canyon at the southern rim.
NO man has dug this hole I watched in pride.
My Jesus made this canyon just for me to see.
And now eye am just dying in the desert sun.
SHINE Arizona canyon.
The one that was made by GOD.
The GRAND one.
