Petals In The Grass
Requiem For An Angel
For giving me a home when no one else would
Treating me as one of her family
Letting me finish school
For that I thank her
Never judging me for who I am
Always there to give me advice
Telling me exactly how she feels
For that I thank her
Giving me me some sense of normalcy
There to listen to my problems
Always having a home cooked meal
For that I thank her
Never faultering in her love for god
Stuck to her convictions
Went to church religiously
For that heaven thanks her
Treating me as one of her family
Letting me finish school
For that I thank her
Never judging me for who I am
Always there to give me advice
Telling me exactly how she feels
For that I thank her
Giving me me some sense of normalcy
There to listen to my problems
Always having a home cooked meal
For that I thank her
Never faultering in her love for god
Stuck to her convictions
Went to church religiously
For that heaven thanks her
