 Kelli
I got a call today
Heard she has gone away
It was her time they say
I need to speak of her now, if I may

She was beautiful and free
An honest heart for all to see
A vibrant and caring personality
So many things I want to be

Her hair was blonde, her eyes of blue
She was full of life, never gloom
Her smile would light up the darkest room
I called her my friend, and had you met her you would too

Her youth, in my heart will always stay
In her forties, too young for cancer to do her that way
Tonight sweet girl my tears fall for you
Wherever you are, may you find peace that is true

When I get home, I will visit where you rest
To say goodbye, I will do my best
Life has given yet another test
