MACERATION

Wasting money on texting him
everytime I awaken
last night
to the
reality

Sucking flesh from bones
sheath from muscles
wet from skin
caving into the
endlessness

Of realizing that we two
have nothing in common
while he is fire
I am water
red arteries, blue veins
heart

Pumps strongly for this poem
as he can only dance across it
never capable of going under
that ocean of love
rushing deeply below
that drowns his flame.
