Poetry For Everyday People

The Last Place Of Peace

Welcome me
in your thoughts arms,
your secret cave,
the last place
of peace,

I believe
I can kiss
your cheek
whispering these
words of cotton,

I know what your
eyes have seen,
the images are
constantly on play
in my mind too,

winter snow
making quilts
smile, I never
liked building
a snow man alone, I always
wanted him to at least
have a dog,

let me in my friend,
my door is
open for you,
this is the place
where your shoes come
off and your heart gets
fed love,

this is where night
sparkles and your
worth is cherished,
your happiness honored,
your dreams protected,

this where beautiful freaks
of philosophical poetic visionary
lonely artistic sexually explosive
instinctively driven minds meet,

welcome me
in your thoughts arms,
your secret cave,
the last place
of peace.
