Meaningful Thoughts

Winter love.

It feels as though
my love comes
in winter.
When tree's are bare,
I usually win her.

Though I wish
it would stay
for spring.
When things can be heard,
and life is what the earth brings.

I will try again
this year.
For spring will be here,
with all it's green glory,
and such warmth to be shared.

Springs triumphant fall
will arise again,
to the burnt summers
demise, and autumn's
mixed color, for all who are surprised.

All seasons bring
about such passion
for the feelings at hand.
Though spring is the one,
the one in demand.

Such things as this,
I must believe.
Or tormented my soul
would always seem.
In my heart
embers heat my coal.
