Poetry For Everyday People

Our Spa

She liked me on my
knees, and I liked her
on hers, so we crawled
around like animals at
home, tongue and ass,

drinking wine and bourbon,
crawling, humping, laughing,
writing, playing music, locking
ourselves in the attic naked,
candles flickering, wine,
discussing life for hours,

playing with each other, with
ourselves, draining each other
of everything needed, sharing a
comfort zone, two people and their
vault of secrets, watching each others
back, laying down their guards,

we wouldn't come down until we had
nothing left,

then we were a shower a way
from rejuvenation.
