Trusting My Instincts

searching my mind for traces of who i am
knowing i posses the key to discovering my being
asking myself why i havent found the obvious
trusting my instincts in my whole being

i have searched a lifetime to find who i really am
i have always known just been afraid to admit
that it was always there for the asking just afraid to ask
trusting my instincts in my whole being

we stumble along as we grow not sure who we are
alot of times we hesitate to discover out of fear
we end up living with our curiosity then our fears
trusting my instincts in my whole being

questioning our being our thoughts our beliefs our life
but do we ever seem satisfied with what we find
to know our whole being who we are is within our reach
trusting my instincts in my whole being
