In This World
I wanna wake
on your coffee
table, your nightstand,
in bed with you, on the
floor next to your shoes,
I wanna be there when
you need, when life
is beating at you,
when your trust has
been abused,
I wanna kiss your eyes
in words, your senses,
this world isn't big enough
to keep our souls apart,
let me breath in your smile,
in your sweet content, your
comfort evokes my senses, lights
up a darkness in my being,
I will serve you my loners,
my angels of kind hearts,
my secret keepers, my friends
of integrity,
nothing lost
when a poem
is gained.
