5 Modern Limericks (updated)

WMD just cannot be found
Not in trees or underground
Intelligence swear
They got to be there
Just somewhere kicking around

Ol' Georgie Bush invaded little I-raq
Thought it would be one quick attack
He went and got a longish war
Should he send a good few more
And when the heck can they come back

Old Tonee Blair was in a terrible rush
To invade I-raq with old Georgie Bush
Lots of Brits said hey now no
We really don't want us to go
Tonee said hush in a rush to back Ol' Bush

Sadam Hussein rot his awful soul
Found deep and low in hidey hole
Said Georgie confess
You just made a mess
With half I- raq still on the dole

The I-raqis may be hungry but they're free
The ungrateful damn bitches just won't see
Old Georgie and Big Tone
Think they shouldn't moan
But thank them both on bended knee

Now three years on and things get worse
Hence we've added this extra little verse
Congress just said withdraw
Georgie don't listen any more
And conversation there is getting terse

And Tonee Blair feels low and down
For in the wings is Gordon Brown
All excited for the waited day
When Ol' Tone is on his way
Metaphorically speaking out of town

WMD still cannot be found
Not in trees or underground
Intelligence swear
They got to be there
Just somewhere kicking around
