As Gum On The Bottom Of Our Shoes
They got the last
word, kick, laugh,
nothing worth remembering
now, just people hurting
people, find the weakness
and kick it hard, take
advantage of Love's
privileges, secrets,
nobody opens their heart's
door to get robbed, you
take your time, you check
them out, you tell yourself:
don't get caught up in romance,
as you fall deep in roses,
but the game is always different,
new techniques of evil are always
being developed, in all circles of
life, love faking is an epidemic,
people are putting their face on
billboards trying to find a connection,
nothing lower than your insides
being used against you, your
heart toyed with, your emotions
played, lies lies so many lies,
how do they do it?
