*a perfect christmas day©

Twas the night before christmas,
ye who live in all your dismay.
You need to reflect on,
that first christmas day.
When i come to your town,
i expect to see:
you loving one another,
and hate just a memory.
The best thing to behold,
when i look thru the land:
is everyone on earth,
all happy and holding hands.
The stockings you hang,
filled with hearts of gold.
The star on your tree,
reflecting peace tenfold.
With love in your heart,
for all mankind:
tis all i ask,
on this night to find.
Then i'll go back
on my throne far away.
And know without a doubt,
it's a perfect christmas day.
I heard him exclaim,
as he magically flew out of sight:
have faith in me and
you'll do what's right!
